Look Hot Fast for Valentine’s Day
Sydney Stylist Jeff Lack shares his list of What’s Hot and What’s Not to help you dress to impress for Mr/Ms Right
You would be forgiven for thinking that Valentine’s Day might be the one big social celebration of the year that permits both guys and girls to get away with showing a bit more flesh than usual. Wrong! This is the one occasion that calls for a little bit extra mystery in putting together your best sexy look.
For many, it can be a day of head to toe preparation! Don’t forget to book in your Blow Dry and Mani-Pedi and moisturise all over. A signature flirty fragrance is a must. Remember dab or spritz lightly so that your fragrance carries within inside your personal space of approximately 1m radius and doesn’t drown out the room.
Guys, I dare you to get a cut and buff – clean fresh, nails are appreciated and get noticed.
Haircuts always look better one week in, so blokes make sure to visit your barber the weekend prior to Valentine’s Day weekend.
Many of you might be tempted to hit the shops and splash out on a new outfit. Don’t leave your outfit selection to the last minute, you’re just asking for a wardrobe malfunction! Plus, it is trans-seasonal at this time of year, so avoid anything with boots, tights, or too many layers.
Pull out your tried and true favourites. Often something that you already have, such as your favourite Little Black Dress, that will simply need dressing up with a splash of costume jewelry or a new pair of heels.
Smart and Stylish dress code shouldn't see men regressing to jeans and tees. Go for dark denim with a really smart shirt tucked in. Hot tip boys, wear a light colour shirt which will look smart against your summer tan and won’t show up perspiration as much.
Remember, don’t compromise your style. Just a little extra attention to grooming and detail will give you the confidence to be your best self this Valentine’s Day.
